On “Food Talk with Dani Nierenberg,” Dani speaks to Dr. Psyche Williams-Forson, a Professor and Chair of the Department of American Studies at the University of Maryland College Park. Williams-Forson is also the author of the new book Eating While Black: Food Shaming and Race in America. She and Dani discuss the policing and shaming of Black eaters' dietary choices, the effects of these conversations on Black women and girls, and what happens in the "meantime" before substantive change takes place.
