Miller discusses how information asymmetry, where some companies do not have the same access to data on food production, distribution, and consumption, negatively impacts small, independent food producers and leads to unstable food supply chains. She highlights how the Biden Administration is working to address these inequalities in their July 2021 Executive Order.
